World Book
Kids v Student
I looked up the Manatee. The amount of information provided in the World Book Kids section was minimal and seemed only useful for the youngest end of the K-5 grade range given. The World Book Student seemed much more appropriate for upper elementary and middle school and is more what you expect from World Book.
I looked up Ireland and the World Book Advanced is nicely set up with easy navigation to key points in the article. It is also handy to have related articles suggested on the sidebar.
The World Book Discover could be helpful to non-english readers by offering a translation function.

Hi, Library Class! Welcome aboard! Thanks for your comments on World Book. I hope you'll take time to investigate some of each module's special features. Did you listen to Ireland's national anthem in Advanced? Discover's Life Skills section would be helpful for many patrons, for example. I agree with your comments about Kids. The beauty of it is that the youngest kids can use it by themselves. Notice that in Student, you can search Kids & Student simultaneously. Thanks for your comments and for participating in the e-resources challenge!
